Overview
As part of its ongoing commitment to bringing essential healthcare services closer to communities, Mawna Diabetic Association (MDA) successfully organized a Free Medical Camp on 26 September 2026 at Baheratali Durbaar Youth Club, Fulbaria, Kaliakair, Gazipur.
The programme was organized to provide essential healthcare services free of cost to local community members and to promote awareness about diabetes, oral health, preventive healthcare, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Services Provided
The Free Medical Camp provided the following services:
- Free consultation by qualified physicians
- Blood glucose testing and diabetes screening
- Dental check-up and professional advice
- Necessary medical and healthcare guidance
- Diabetes management and healthy lifestyle counselling
- Health awareness education
- Guidance on the importance of regular health check-ups
People from different age groups in the surrounding community participated in the camp and received the necessary healthcare services.
The medical team also provided guidance on diabetes risk factors, regular blood glucose monitoring, preventive healthcare, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Community Engagement
The Free Medical Camp provided an opportunity for local residents to access basic healthcare services within their community. Through medical consultation, diabetes screening, dental check-ups, and health education, Mawna Diabetic Association aimed to encourage people to become more aware of their health and seek timely medical care when necessary.
